cannot be overstated how these cars are practically made for a chiptune. got the 2018 model from a previous owner so warranty was already void anyways. A simple ECU flash easily brings these to 400pk+ and 600nm+ torque which is crazy value. Added an intercooler and downpipe mod to my car for a stage2 ecu/tpu flash and it ran a whopping 470HP and 750nm(!!!!) on the dyno which was mindblowing if you consider the relative easy and cheapness of the mods. the torque is beastly, my jaw drops every time, even a half trottle pull at 3k rpm. an RS5 will always be the better car for the body and other more subtle upgrades, but in terms of value, feel like im driving supercar level power for the price a new golf GTI.

This is so common its now 'the norm' as is putting indicators on and just driving out into traffic without looking rather than merging properly. People are so stupid now its actuality unbelievable. I've actually given up fighting it now. Its like a zombie apocalypse

1 hour 40 to do 75 miles. Goes to show how bad it is. If everyone did 70 where possible, and used lanes correctly, that should have been closer to 100 miles.

Worse thing about lane hoggers is when you get some 🔔 end blocking the outside lane taking forever to pass the car in the middle lane and staying side by side with them for sometimes miles.

This is the most relyable 4 cyl diesel from bmw, the B47. No more timing chain issues and fuel economy is pretty good

Driven one of these today as a hire car . High 60's MPG. My daily drive is a C8 RS6, on a good day I might get 50% of this MPG. I wish I was not such a car nut, as this really does tick all the boxes. Not once did I think this was "slow". Mark

Moot point in Canada, our dictator banded RS3, hence I have a S3. Chase RS3 around smaller tracks, all over them, bigger tracks, they get me on straights. So I must agree with most comments here :)
